Each year the member clubs of the VCSL combine to form the VCSL Select Showcase team. This team will participate in a College recruiting showcase or tournament within the region. Each VCSL club is tasked with nominating the best players from their club to attend a centralized tryout. League appointed coaching staff will work collaboratively to select the strongest team they can to represent the league.

The VCSL Select team will represent the league at a regional event designed to provide college recruiting exposure and high level playing opportunities for the players. The program is designed to offer a unique opportunity to players who may not normally receive the same experience through regular team play. The team will meet for training sessions prior to the event and participate fully at the showcase event. The experience promises to be rewarding on the field and off, allowing players to form lasting connections throughout the league and region.

Event – Southern Soccer Showcase, Feb 20-22nd
Boys – Greensboro, NC
Girls – Winston Salem, NC
Player Fee – $250

Player ID Session to be held in mid-January. Training sessions in February.
