VCSL members have a unique opportunity through the league to participate in meaningful postseason playoff and national competitions. The VCSL qualifies one representative automatically into the VYSA President’s Cup Final Four each season. These teams have an opportunity to compete for a place in the USYS Mid Atlantic President’s Cup regional competition and then the overall national competition if they successfully advance. The league provides a single qualifier in each age group and gender, U11 through U18, boys and girls, each year. Older teams (U15 through U19) play at the end of the fall season with the younger age groups (U11 through U14) competing in a year long competition that culminates after the spring season. This post season pathway leads directly to the State President’s Cup semifinal round with champions advancing to the Mid Atlantic President’s Cup. The Mid Atlantic competition includes the champions from the states of DE, VA, WV, KY, TN, NC, and MD. Champions from this competition advance to the USYS National President’s Cup Competition in July.
