About

The Virginia Club Soccer League provides a competitive outlet for travel soccer clubs throughout Virginia. The league is home to clubs both large and small and uses a demographic basis for membership that promotes the growth of the game in underserved communities and the stability of member clubs throughout the league. Sanctioned by VYSA, the VCSL hosts Premier and Classic Divisions for boys and girls teams U10-U19.

VCSL has worked with VYSA to establish a postseason pathway for its Premier Division champions. VCSL champions earn automatic entry in the VYSA President’s Cup state championship weekend each year in Fredericksburg, VA. There, they will compete for the VYSA President’s Cup state championship and the right to represent Virginia at Region 1 and USYS National President’s Cup championship events.

Important to the VCSL concept, the league crowns seasonal club champions. Each team in the league earns points for their club based upon their results. The clubs with the highest point totals are crowned overall Club Champions (Premier and Classic), the VCSL’s highest honor.
